Horizon Construction Services was engaged to construct a new country fire service station at Tailem Bend. Works included the construction of multiple vehicle parking bays, office areas, kitchen, amenities and surrounding hard stand and carpark areas.
This project was undertaken as part of the DPTI program to facilitate additional CFS stations in rural South Australia. This industrial warehouse was constructed on a difficult site that was predominantly rock, making site preparation and excavation key to the foundation of the structure.
